Who is responsible and what we collect

Digitalbo Group AB (company reg. no. 559501-5073) is the data controller for the processing on Bovila. We process the data needed for the service: account and contact details, listing content, messages, contract and inspection report data, payment history (card details are handled by Stripe — we never store them) and technical data.

Why, and on what legal basis

We process data to provide the service (contract), to meet legal requirements (e.g. bookkeeping), and for security, support and development (legitimate interest). Marketing is based on consent or legitimate interest, and you can always say no. The complete policy contains a table of each purpose with its legal basis and retention period.

Sharing and security

We never sell your data. Data is shared only with the suppliers the service requires (e.g. Stripe, BankID, hosting and storage providers, an AI provider) under data processing agreements, with other users when the service requires it (e.g. contract parties), and with authorities when the law requires it. Transfers outside the EU/EEA are protected by adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. All traffic is encrypted and passwords are stored hashed.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and to object — including, always, to direct marketing. Contact privacy@bovila.se and we normally reply within one month. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (imy.se).

Real estate agent contacts and lead requests

Bovila may process work-related contact details (name, email, town/region) of registered real estate agents from public registers — such as the Swedish Estate Agents Inspectorate's register of real estate agents — in order to send relevant requests about possible assignments in the agent's area.

Imported contacts are never shown publicly — appearing in the agent directory requires your own registered account.
You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every mailing — it works without logging in and permanently blocks future mailings.
You can object to the processing at any time via the link in the mailing or privacy@bovila.se.

AI features

Bovila's AI features (search, matching, text generation, valuation indications) are for guidance and make no binding decisions about you. Only the data the feature requires is sent to the AI provider, with automatic filtering of personal data. Details are in the complete policy.
